      Solar Flare

  We could be in for a huge firework display in 2012. The Sun will be approaching the peak of its 11-year cycle, called "solar maximum", so we can expect a lot of solar activity. Some predictions put the solar maximum of Solar Cycle 24 even more energetic than the last solar maximum in 2002-2003 (remember all those record breaking X-class flares?). Solar physicists are already getting excited about this next cycle and new prediction methods are being put to good use. But should we be worried?           

   Mayan Cosmos

According the Mayans interpretation the world will end in 2012 and yes sometimes is destroyed by fire.According to ancient Mayan beliefs the Cosmos was made up by Nine Underworlds. Each of the Nine Underworlds was created through a sequence of Thirteen Heavens. The beginning of the creation of the First Underworld thus coincides well with the current best estimate of the beginning of Creation. Upon this the most basic of the Nine Underworlds, are then built eight other Underworlds each carrying and developing a special frame of consciousness for the life that it creates. In this way a hierarchical nine-leveled structure is created where lower levels of consciousness provide the foundation for new and higher levels. Each of these nine creation cycles thus gives rise to a specific Underworld and each of these Underworlds is characterized by a certain frame, or dimension, of consciousness. This frame of consciousness is then created in a series of thirteen steps, through the sequential influence of Thirteen Heavens.At the present time we are beginning to enter the eighth level of consciousness of the cosmic pyramid, based on the foundation provided by the seven lower levels.  The old Maori legends speak of a similar occurrence, where the world will be changed by a sort of merging of two worlds.  According to their elders the spiritual world will become one with the material world. In many ancient legends it is a time when the world changes it's evolutionary cycle.  Man is born fully developed and grows younger as he ages until he no longer exist.

 According to the Maori elders this time of change has already begun when the sky opened in 2009 to reveal other universal inhabitants.  UFO's?  

     Galactic Alignment

 It was John Major Jenkins who asserted that the ancient Maya intended to tie the end of their calendar to the winter solstice in 2012, which falls on December 21. In our Solar System, the planets and the Sun share almost the same plane of orbit, which we call the plane of the ecliptic. To us the ecliptic is the path taken by the Sun across the sky over the course of the year. The 12 constellations which line the ecliptic are known as the Zodiac and, through the year, the Sun passes through each constellation or sign in turn. Over time, the Sun's annual passage recedes counterclockwise by one degree every 72 years, which is attributed to the wobble in the Earth's axis as it spins. This cycle causes a visible change in the constellation every 2160 years that occurs on the morning of the spring equinox. In astrology this signals the end of one astrological age and the beginning of another. Every 26,000 years, the constellation complete a full circuit around the ecliptic and this we call the procession of equinox.
